Meet Adrienne Dawkins
Who is Adrienne ? I'm a mother of 2 beautiful girls ages 8 and 1. I don't take motherhood lightly and am eternally thankful for my blessings. I'm simply a child of God with a grateful heart and spirit. Tell us about your Career/Business I'm an Event Tour Manager with more than a decade of experience executing empowerment tours, book tours, pop up shops, retreats etc across the country. In the Spring of 2016 I plan to go international as I open the doors to my tour management company! I am also the Founder and CEO of Putting Mom First LLC which encourages mothers to invest in themselves unapologetically. We're excited about our upcoming bookclub, fall retreat, health&fitness accountability club and more. As mothers we need to understand it's not just ok to invest in ourselves but necessary. Lastly I teach skincare techniques and makeup application with Mary Kay as well as image workshops when I can find the time. Tell us about a time you had to Be Brave ? Coming back and rebuilding after a heartbreaking and spiritually draining loss. It's easy to allow that pain to turn into depression and I'll be honest for a few weeks I did but I thank God for my prayer warriors who prayed me through it until I was strong enough to stand and pray on my own. I came out on the other side not just wiser btw without bitterness which is something I know only God could have done. Give us 1 quote that you want to share to other women that will encourage them .Just BREATHE. Learn to make yourself a priority too. Thank you Adrienne !

Until next time All this week we will be introducing you to amazing real women who have decided to Be Brave in their lives, community & careers. Meet Charity G. Clark Christ Follower | Wife | Mother | Stylist | Generations Pastor Who is Charity? I am a Jesus Loving, Coffee Drinking, Blogging wife to the most amazing man, mother to 3 world changing kids, a Pastor and a Speaker. I pride myself in taking my insanely crazy, wonderful, hectic, chaotic life and laying it at the feet of Jesus every single day. Can you share a time or experience that you had to be Brave The most BRAVE moment that I've experienced in my life to date, has been the decision I made to Remain. All my life, when faced with discomfort, confrontation or anything I deemed as difficult, I ran. I made excuses, I cried, I hid, I did whatever I could possibly to escape -physically, emotionally, spiritually - you name it. In 2010 I made the decision to Remain - physically, emotionally, spiritually - and to allow God's perfect work to be done in me. I realized that God, the surgeon, wanted me to be still long enough so that he could perform surgery on the part of me that was so hurt, wounded, broken. He wanted to make me Brave - And for the first time in my life, I let him. What quote would you share with women to encourage them "In Him, you are quite enough" - Charity Clark; My Daily Confession. I thought I failed them. We've learned along the way and we continue to work toward open communication and setting goals that help set our grandchildren up for success. Our children are grateful. We've taken this to the next level by reaching out to parents and children to share available resources and teachings, through our organizations. Question: 1 quote that you believe will encourage other women: Answer: BELIEVE TO ACHIEVE is my motto.. My passion in life is to enjoy all of life's opportunities while sharing HOPE with others to be able to do the same. This encouraged me too. Enjoy to the fullest!! Thank you Yvetta.
